Well, the heat has abated and I am finally out of my painting slump. Here is

An avid gardener, as Ms. Wright-Correll finds herself in the mid seventies she says, "Most of my efforts go into flowers. However, I always plant some cucumbers and some tomatoes and these were the first of the season in my 2009 garden. Fresh and crisp, delightfully flavorful these cucumbers were picture perfect as I picked them and I could not resist painting a small picture of them".
