With Glynis and Ken in Alaska, 20 years later finally getting around to read Michner's Alaska and Carl getting an Alaska Cruise guide book I was in the mood to paint this 5" x 7" miniature Eskimo Mother & Child painting from a photo I saw in the cruise guide. I guess this is about as close as I will ever get to Alaska. So this is my daily painting. "An Eskimo Mother and Child" is a 5" x 7" miniature gouache watercolor painting on handmade cotton rag watercolor paper.
